In keeping in line with the class session's trend of metaphorically imaging words, I thought I might try my hands at crafting something that chronicles the time of my departure from Newark, New Jersey into Montpelier, Vermont. It will be challenging because it was a simple trip from one state through many into another but simple to say the least. I guess this is where the "creative" aspect comes into play.
I do not think it is impossible but it is something totally different from any writing I have ever done before so the comfort level is not present.
Another concern is how i can relay this in a way that is not too lengthy but adequately showcasing the trip. As an English major, I often find myself over-writing because it is rather simple to get caught up and ramble on just to fill pages, {adding length to papers}. I just did it in the last sentence!
This will be interesting!
